I was very honored when in May of 2012, I was asked to join the circle of Garden Keepers. I will do my best to help the Garden of Friendship, and the wonderful members whenever possible.
I now act as the Garden Keeper Overseer for Membership Pride Committee and the Blossoms.
I was completely overwhelmed with gratitude, when I was honored to receive the Garden's most wonderful Rose of Friendship Award.
" This being the year for gems,
I think Kat Coconut is definitely a jewel of the greatest kind.
She's always there to lend an ear, or a shoulder to lean on.
She offers to help with any task or situation without hesitation.
I am truly honored to be able to say she is a friend."
This is what was written below the award, and although I don't know who nominated me, but I am very touched that they feel this way.
Words cannot express how much I treasure this award. I love the friends I have made at the Garden, and look forward to making more friends, and will treasure them as well.
I also share the position of Garden Keeper Overseer for the Garden Buddies (with my good friend BoomBoom, another Garden Keeper, and a member of my team at Mystickal Realms). Garden Buddies is a Fun Group in the Garden where we chat, share anything and just enjoy ourselves. We are there to lend and ear, offer advice, and did I mention - have fun?
The Garden Buddies were nominated and awarded the Rose of Friendship. It was a first for any Garden Group, and very sweet.
I was the CL for the Membership Pride Committee in May of 2010 and held that position until May 2012 when I became a Garden Keeper. I worked with great people in that committee, and enjoyed helping to ensure Members sites are properly linked and things.
I was on the Banner Exchange Committee until it closed. Now as GK, I manage the Banner Exchange
I still enjoy welcoming new members to the Garden of Friendship.
I just received this award for my work with the Membership Pride Committee.
I received this Appreciation Award for July 2010. It came as quite a surprise, and I am so thrilled to have been selected for this honor.
